The New Event in Cycling
OVERVIEW
CritCross is a hybrid race event combining the intense head to head racing of criterium, a short smooth dirt segment, and the excitement of Supercross. This all takes place on a racecourse designed for Supermoto and Go Kart racing events.
Why?
The impetus for developing CritCross came to Founder Eric Bierman who noticed how stale the local Southern California criterium racing scene had become and the basic disappearance of Cyclocross racing. He recognized that a hunger existed for something new, different, challenging, and especially exciting for both racers and spectators.
Who is it for?
CritCross is for the competitor looking for something outside the box. A "Jack of All Trades" type of competitor will shine at such a event. One that has intense fitness, bicycle handling skills in tight group racing situations, cornering skills on asphalt, dirt, and knowledge of proper equipment set up for the varying terrain.
